What are some of the symptoms of hepatitis B?

Many people with acute hepatitis B infection remain without symptoms. However, when symptoms do occur, they may include:

  • abdominal pain
  • loss of appetite
  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • jaundice (a yellow cast to the skin and the whites of the eyes)
