Asthma is more common than many people think. It is estimated that over 150 million people worldwide have this disease. Unfortunately, a great many do not even know it! Five to ten percent of Canadian adults suffer from asthma. Among children in Canada, the situation may be even worse, with as many as 20 percent affected.
