What is univadis™?

univadis™ is a new, free, bilingual website for Canadian doctors that offers the latest medical and general interest information and can be tailored to each doctor's specialty. The result of extensive research with Canadian doctors, univadis™ offers daily medical, local and world news, an online medical image atlas, advanced medical and literature search tools, and in-depth information on 24 medical specialties.

Tailored for Canadian doctors

univadis™ is based on a syndicated study of general practitioners called "Doctors on the Net" and another study conducted by Ipsos of general practitioners and specialists called "Medical Internet Strategic Tracker". univadis™ has therefore been designed to allow Canadian doctors to find unbiased and accurate information quickly and easily from credible sources such as Braunwald PLUS, Canadian Press, Current Medicine Group, Elsevier, Excerpta Medica, the Merck Manuals and PubMed.

Content is organized into four main pages: Home, Search, News and Services. Additional areas of the site cover account information, e-mail subscription settings, online help and banner advertising to inform users of new content on the site.

BraunwaldPLUS - A medical image atlas containing annotated slides from respected authors

Congress Reporter - An International congress reporting service from Excerpta Medica

First View - A literature review service from Elsevier reviewing over 100 leading journals across all medical specialties and presenting the 'need to know' scientific information
