        Remember Measles?

Rubella?

Mumps?

Merck research means your kids probably don't.

Most kids today don't have a clue about diseases adults remember, thanks to the work of Merck scientists. Today, Merck is one of the few drug companies still conducting research to combat childhood diseases. One day, Merck may be able to help prevent diseases like cancer.

Merck has invested more than $20 billion to research heart disease, asthma and osteoporosis. And now we're trying to make diseases like Alzheimer's, diabetes and obesity history too.

Merck has 10 laboratories worldwide, one of which is the Merck Frosst Centre for Therapeutic Research, located in Montréal, Québec. Merck also invests in rigorous, ongoing health outcome studies that scientifically evaluate the benefits and value of our medicines.
